The Secure Wallet is a robust cold storage solution allowing you to store a number of large-cap and ERC20 tokens, as well as store and display your ERC721 NFTs. Thanks to a complete redesign of the user interface, using the Secure Wallet and companion app has never been easier, as new features and navigation options create a more seamless and user-friendly experience.

Secure Wallet Update: v3.0.4

The Secure Wallet is a cold storage hardware wallet that pairs with the Secure Wallet companion app, providing a simple, yet secure, way to store and interact with your digital assets.

In the latest update (version 3.0.4), the companion app has been completely redesigned, making it simpler and more intuitive to toggle between token types thanks to the new header-bar navigation menu.

The use of gestures (in this case swiping to the right) also allows you to quickly switch between, view, and access large caps/primarily supported tokens, ERC20's, and ERC721 NFTs, and obtain the necessary wallet information to send/receive these tokens.

With this update, you can also choose to add/remove tokens directly from the home screen of each token type, instead of navigating through the settings. In addition, the responsiveness and accuracy of price tracking within the app have also been improved, thanks to updated price data and faster refresh rates.

As you would already be aware, you can generate up to 5 individual wallet addresses for each token available on the Secure Wallet, and this has become much simpler with the addition of the ‘add account’ button- now available when opening an individual wallet (as shown in the image below).

Similarly, you can now search the transaction history for your individual wallet addresses, as well as search within a specific date range.

Token Support

The recent update also adds support for ERC20 USDT. The Secure Wallet now supports USDT on Bitcoin (the OMNI layer) and on Ethereum (ERC20).

Depending on which network you wish to use to send/receive USDT, you will need to toggle between the USDT available on the home screen (OMNI) and the Ethereum based version, which you can add by toggling to the ‘ERC20’ tab.

Bug Fixes

A number of bug fixes are also available with this update, including:

  • Updated API’s to fix the current GoChain and Ethereum gas fee (fetch) issue
  • More efficient and faster balance updates (individual tokens and overall balances).
  • Faster updates and rates for live token prices
  • Fixes intermittent issues when changing between the default currency, eg from USD to AUD.
  • Addresses pairing/sync issues

Up Next

Prior to the OMI token migration from GoChain to Ethereum, we will also add support for the new ERC20 OMI token to the Secure Wallet. This will be available alongside the existing Go OMI token (as both smart contracts will be live until all tokens have been migrated).
